libblasr software package provides tools for aligning PacBio reads to target sequences, you can install in your Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (Xenial Xerus) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libblasr
libblasr is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libblasr package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libblasr *
You will get with libblasr package name, version, architecture and description in a table
